Dress Shopping! Fairy Godmother Project of MN

Dress time! We had such a blast at A and Be Bridal Shop last week!  They were such a pleasure to work with.  A and Be donated a wedding gown to our bride Kristin, which she is planning on wearing for the reception, dance and send off on her big day.image-0022 image-0016Going in to the shop, you immediately feel at ease.  Warm wood floors, fun, soft music playing, dresses and accessories nicely hung and not clustered or smashed together, and champagne!  It was the kind of place you could spend all day in, and be just as relaxed as when you walked in the door.

image-0009 image-0013We had the pleasure of working with Jordan, who really knew her stuff when it came to gowns.  She showed us a variety of gown styles, cuts, colors, laces, hair pieces… Who knew there were so many different names for all the different styles!  Kristin selected a few dresses, and headed over to the giant fitting area to try them on.  Jenn Rosen (our fabulous wedding coordinator from Rosetree Events), and I lounged on the sofas with our champagne, and waited.

Which dress did she pick? You will have to wait to find out.  We are keeping it a secret and will reveal it on the same day Ben gets to see it…which will be on their wedding day! But, just so we don’t leave anyone wondering too much….. it’s one of the dresses in the photo below.
